The Church Pastorate

The Pastorate is made up of the Church Pastor and all ministers. It is headed by the Church Pastor. The Church Pastor is the spiritual head of the Church, who all defer to, and all ministers report to him. The day to day spiritual functions of the church are in the hands of the Church Pastor, and he and other ministers are members of the Diaconate through which they report to the Church Council and then to the Church in Conference. First Baptist Church, Abuleegba intends to operates a multi-staff ministry model, made up of position for 1 (one) Church Pastor and other Ministers.

This model enables the Church to minister through the power of the Holy Spirit and meet the needs of the various expectation of its diverse membership. The Church Pastor leads other Ministers in the day to day Ministry of equipping and empowering the members. The Ministers handle various ministries in the church.   1. Rev.(Dr) Oladele Matthew Amoo

    Rev’d Olaldele Amoo, the Pastor of First Baptist Church, Abule Egba, took over the leadership of the church on 1st July, 2019 with his wife and their kingdom children. Rev’d Olaldele Amoo was born on the 11th November, 1960 at Iwoye in Egbedore Local Government of Osun State to the family of Pa. Simeon Oladiji and Madam Esther Bolande Amoo both of blessed memory.

Rev’d Dr. Oladele Amoo in term of education qualifications has NCE, Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree and Doctorate Degree. He has passion and zeal for kingdom business. He served the churches highlighted below during and after his graduation from the Nigeria Baptist Serminary, Ogbomosho before being engaged to First Baptist Church, Abule Egba, Lagos.

Rev’d Dr Oladele Amoo, believes in purposeful and visionary leadership, he also places high priority on preaching and leading worship deeply rooted in “Biblical principles” undiluted with the mindset of unifying true worship experience. He loves to build a community relevant church, promoting harmonious Christian home, fostering Unity and family bonds among members to the glory of God.
